Final Week For 4x5 Gallery

By Andrew Dudley - Published on June 23, 2014.
One final exhibit is slated this week for 4x5 Gallery, which is closing up shop at the end of the month.
As we mentioned back in May, 4x5 will soon be ceasing operations at 442 Haight Street after two years in business. Co-owners Gordon Szeto and Hung Tran are moving on, but not before one last reception.
This Wednesday night, swing by the gallery for a closing party, which doubles as the opening event for the space's final show. Fittingly, it'll feature photographs by two artists who are more than regulars at the gallery -- Hung and Gordon themselves. The reception will run from 6pm to 9pm, and is open to the public.
And if you're in the market for some markdowns, 4x5 will be offering 50% off its remaining stock of photo portfolios until supplies run out. The gallery is open the rest of this week from noon until 6pm daily.
After 4x5 closes, Glass Key Photo will still operate at the location, and may even host a gallery of its own. Stay tuned for more details on that as they... develop.
