Shooting Reported At Haight & Stanyan [Updated]Adam Engelhart/Flickr
The SFPD reports that a shooting occurred at Haight and Stanyan at 6:45pm this evening.
According to police, an officer "located an adult male suffering from gun shot wounds." The victim was taken to SF General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. 

No suspect is currently in custody, according to police. They urge anyone with information on the shooting to contact SFPD anonymously at (415) 575-4444, or via text to TIP411 (type "SFPD" at the beginning of the text).

UPDATE: 6/19/14, 9:30am: More details have emerged on last night's incident, which police say occurred on the 1700 block of Haight St. 

The victim, who is described by police as a 42-year-old transient male, was in verbal argument with the two suspects, a male estimated to be 20-28 years of age, and a female estimated to be 25-30. The male suspect pulled out a handgun and shot the victim once in the leg. The suspects then fled on foot southbound on Stanyan St. No arrests have been made.
