Video: Check Out This Aerial View Of The Castro
A Hoodline reader sent us this video of a pretty awesome view of the Castro, as seen from his quadcopter camera.

The footage was taken this past Saturday around noon, and features some great shots of the Castro's new sidewalks, the Rainbow Pride flag, the Castro Theatre, the F-Line turning around at 17th Street, Twin Peaks, and Castro Street looking south from Market to the top of the hill.

Local resident Matthew M. took the video with his DJI Phantom Vision+ aerial camera, which features "return to home" technology if the battery gets too low so the flyer doesn't stop and fall in midair. Matthew also says he flew it well below the 1000ft minimum above which normal aircraft such as helicopters are required to fly, to avoid any mishaps there.

Sit back, relax, put your tray tables into their upright positions and enjoy the video.
