After searching for a buyer who'll take ownership of its video-rental business and 90,000-title film archive, Le Video has announced that November 28th will be its last day in business. Founded in 1980, the shop acquired a reputation for its prodigious motion picture library but was unable to remain afloat in the age of digital media. According to manager John Taylor, the collection's fate is still unknown, but efforts to find a benefactor are ongoing.
