Yesterday, we ran a story about the recent death of popular North Beach sketch artist Stuart "Stu" Jackson in a brutal, unprovoked attack at Market and Van Ness. Readers responded by tweeting us some of Jackson's signature sketches, which he'd create at North Beach haunts like Vesuvio, Stella Pastry, and Caffe Trieste, then sell to the often unwitting subjects.
If you have a sketch of yourself drawn by Jackson, we'd love to see it—and to share it with the wider community. Just email a snapshot or two of your Stu Jackson sketch to us. (The only requirement: all photos must be at least 960 pixels wide, in order to fit with our site's guidelines.) We'll share any sketches we receive in an upcoming roundup of Jackson's work. Thank you!
Never miss a story.
