Daytime retail options are growing along the Divisadero corridor, with another new business opening its doors to the neighborhood. Topo Designs, an outdoor bag supplier based in Colorado, will launch its first San Francisco store in the former Your Scents Trading Post location this Friday.

For 33 years, Your Scents sold a variety of incense, oils, bath products and more out of 645 Divisadero St., sandwiched between Mojo and the former Cara Glass and Sash. When the building sold to Prado Group, the new owners did not renew Cara's lease, and came to a settlement with Your Scents owner Jason Hopkins to end his lease early.

The past few months have seen a bustle of construction in both storefronts, with Tanner Goods opening up next-door in late November.

Topo Designs sells a wide variety of bags, all handmade in Colorado, including the everyday rover pack ($139), or the multi-use duffel ($98). The company also makes and sells men's outdoor clothes, like the puffer vest ($149), fleece jacket ($129) and a wool work shirt ($198).

The Divisadero outpost is the first Topo location outside of Colorado. "San Francisco is a perfect choice for the next Topo Designs location," said co-founder Mark Hansen in a press release. “Its heritage as the portal to the west reflects everything that is Topo Designs. San Francisco allows and embraces the transition from amazing outdoor activities to a bustling city full of business and culture."

The shop is expected to open this Friday, December 11th.
