1600 Block Of Haight Disrupted For Sinkhole RepairsPhoto: Camden Avery/Hoodline

Residents and neighborhood drivers will rejoice that that sinkhole on Haight—you know the one—has finally breathed its last.

Over the last few days, city crews have had the street around the Haight and Belvedere intersection blocked off for digging, repairs, and re-paving.

As of yesterday afternoon concrete had been poured and traffic was being diverted; the area was re-graded with asphalt to last the weekend.

The work, which according to the street closure signs is scheduled to wrap up by Feb. 1st, will interrupt parking spots and traffic lanes on the street on Monday through Friday of next week.
