Tipster Steven Y. reports, and online sources confirm, that a sinkhole has opened on Mission Street between Second and New Montgomery:
"SFPD and SFFD have blocked off Mission between 2nd and New Montgomery. Family of five in car have been removed with no injuries."

SFMTA is recommending that commuters avoid the area, as some bus routes are impacted:
