The Excelsior's June Jordan School For Equity (325 La Grande Ave.) went into lockdown around 3:15pm today, following a shooting in the area that injured three students, one of them critically.

According to ABC7, four male suspects ran from the scene and are currently at large.

The SFPD confirmed on Twitter that multiple shots were fired at Brazil and La Grande.

According to KRON, the shots were fired just as June Jordan students were being let out for the day, and the high school went into lockdown immediately. The lockdown lifted shortly after 4pm, and San Francisco Unified School District officials are working with police to investigate the shooting.

Update, 5:41pm: SFPD says that all three victims were shot in the parking lot and then ran to the school for safety. According to the Examiner, two of the victims, both male bystanders, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The third, who is female and a June Jordan student, is in critical condition, and is believed to have been the target of the shooting.

The four male suspects were last seen running west on Brazil Avenue, and police continue to search for them.

Update, 6:52pm: There was a fourth victim in the shooting, according to the Examiner, who walked into SF General seeking treatment. The victim, who is male, is in non-life-threatening condition; he was also a bystander.

Meanwhile, in a statement on its website, June Jordan says that school will be in session tomorrow, with counseling for students. "We want to reassure you that this was an isolated incident outside of the school building where one student was being targeted by outsiders. Please know that your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us."

Update, 10/19: According to a police report, all of the shooting victims yesterday were 15 years old.
