For many people, it has been a rough post-election week. This weekend, take a deep breath and brave the expected rains to reconnect with your community.

Tonight, San Francisco Planning will be in the neighborhood to discuss an important piece of policy impacting Ocean Beach. The community workshop, 6-8pm, will share how San Francisco is tackling erosion issues between Sloat and Skyline and providing a resilient solution for the area.

On Friday, join Supervisor Katy Tang and Jannot's Jams for a jamming session at Grace Lutheran Church. Learn how to make delicious homemade jams that will be perfect gifts for the holiday season.

The weekend is also bringing a number of outdoor events, including a family volunteer day with Nature in the City and an Ocean Beach clean-up. As always, check with organizers for their rain plans before heading out.

Here are all the events coming up this week in the Outer Sunset. For more fun around the city, check out our full events calendar at hoodline.com/events. If you have an event you'd like to add to our calendar, you can submit it here for free.
