It's time for another jam-packed weekend full of art, comedy and culture in and around North Beach. Here's what's on the agenda.

Tomorrow is the final North Beach First Friday of the year, and they're going out with a bang. Highlights among the 18 participating venues include the Canessa Gallery's Whiskey and Goldfish exhibit (708 Montgomery St.), Elisabeth Ashcroft's North Beach drawings at Grey City Gallery (250 Columbus) and something special for the four-legged loves of your life at Sweetie's Art Bar (475 Francisco St.).

Plus, the North Beach Bauhaus (703 Columbus) is hosting their first major group show featuring over 24 artists who have re-interpreted Bay Area personalities in paintings, photography and digital illustrations. Keep an eye on the North Beach First Friday Facebook account for the latest; you can download the map of participating businesses on their website.

If you're in need for a laugh or two, SoMa's Bindlestiff Studio is having a year-end celebration at the I-Hotel Manilatown Center (868 Kearny St.), headlined by stand-up comic Kevin Camia and featuring the all-female Granny Cart Gangstas. Saturday Night Live alum Jon Lovitz is in town too, performing tonight through Saturday at Cobb's Comedy Club (915 Columbus).

Lastly, don't forget the first Sunday of every month is free admission to the Chinese Historical Society (965 Clay St.)
