If you're looking for a healthy food option in the Castro, Project Juice is now open.

The cold-pressed juice purveyor, which has five other locations around the city, will have limited opening hours this weekend, from 8am to 3pm. Starting Monday, they'll expand to their full hours: 7am-7pm on weekdays and 8am-7pm on weekends.

In addition to juices like the "Sweet Green" and "Beta Bomb," Project Juice also offers soups, toast, "wellness elixirs," kombucha, hot and cold-brew coffee, and tea. They've also got salads, yogurt, granola, nuts and other snacks to grab on the go.

Owner Greg Malsin told us that organic superfood smoothies and bowls are their two most popular items. He also said they'll also be adding outdoor seating, as soon as Public Works signs off on the permit.
