One man is in life-threatening condition following a shooting this afternoon in the Mission near San Francisco General Hospital.

The Chronicle reports that the SFPD responded to calls around 2pm of a man suffering from gunshot wounds near 25th and Hampshire streets. It was not clear where exactly the shooting took place.

The victim was transferred to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Suspects have not yet been identified.

The SFPD Media Relations Unit is unable to provide additional information on the shooting at this time. We'll share more details if and when they're released.
