Whether you're over the moon in love or feeling hexed, vexed and perplexed, there's no shortage of Valentine’s Day events for couples and singles coming up around the Bayview District.

For a memorable evening, we recommend spending next Tuesday night with one—or more—of the following neighborhood businesses.

Chocolate Making & Tasting

Get crafty while you sip wine and learn to make hand-rolled truffles and tempered chocolates at Feve Artisan Chocolatier.

Similarly, Gratta Wines (5273 Third St) is hosting a special chocolate and wine pairing event from 2–4pm this Saturday, Feb. 11th.

Hot & Steamy

Grab your lover, robe and flip flops and head over to the neighborhood's Russian spa, Archimedes Banya. Located in the heart of Hunter's Point, clothing is optional in some of the spa's baths and decks, and a variety of scrubs, wraps and massages are available as well. Once you're both refreshed, you can grab local, organic bites, and sip beer and wine in the onsite restaurant.

Space is always limited, so be sure to call ahead and make a reservation.

Cupcakes & Crowlers

Experience a unique pairing of sweet and savory as Bayview baker Yvonne Hines of Yvonne’s Southern Sweets prepares three special Valentine’s cupcakes to wash down three fresh brews at Laughing Monk. Enjoy your treats with a pint at the brewery, or carry home a gift bag featuring two cupcakes and one crowler.

Pilsner or Pinot? Barley or Barolo?

The first annual "Grain V. Grape" Valentine’s dinner is another pairing experience—with a competitive twist. Gratta Wines and Laughing Monk are going head-to-head, preparing craft wines and beers to compliment a special four-course tasting menu at Old Skool Cafe. Diners will then vote on their favorite pairings.

Sing Away Your Woes

After getting your sugar fix, stick around Laughing Monk for Bad Love Karaoke. Attendees will be offered the chance to belt out their favorite love ballads—accompanied by a live band. To get on the setlist, email your song request to [email protected] now.
