A car collision has left a 25-year-old cyclist with life-threatening injuries after he was struck yesterday morning at 8am at Cesar Chavez and Alabama streets.

According to SFPD, the car was being driven by a 29-year-old man heading westbound on Cesar Chavez. As the driver attempted a turn, the car struck a cyclist.

After police responded to the scene, the cyclist was taken to a hospital.
