Come Out And Play: A Guide To Tomorrow's Warriors ParadePhoto: Golden State Warriors/Facebook

On Thursday, the Golden State Warriors and the city of Oakland are hosting a parade and rally to celebrate the team's victory in the NBA Finals.

Here's all you need to know about the parade route, the celebration rally site, street closures, transit accommodations, and more.

Parade Route

The parade will commence on Thursday on Broadway at 10th St. at 10:00am. From there, it will proceed north up Broadway before it turns right onto Grand Avenue.

It will then turn right on Harrison Street, left on 19th St., and right onto Oak St. before ending along Lake Merritt Boulevard outside the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center.

Coutesy AC Transit.

Celebration Rally

Visitors can begin lining up for the rally as early as 5am at Lakeshore and 12th St. The rally will begin around 12:15pm at the south end of Lake Merritt in front of Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center.

Since the area has limited space, access will be closed after capacity is reached. Fans will have access to a remote viewing area at Lake Merritt Boulevard and East 12th St.

Temperatures are expected to reach the high 70s/low 80s, so be sure to apply sunscreen, wear a hat and stay hydrated. There will be free water-filling stations and beverages for sale, and medical assistance centers will be marked by giant red balloons.

Street Closures & Public Transit Changes

Due to both the rally and parade, street closures will occur for most of the day on Thursday and transit service will be interrupted in the areas bordered by Grand Avenue to the north; Martin Luther King, Jr. Way to the west; 8th St. to the south; and Lakeshore Avenue to the east.

Several AC Transit bus will reroute tomorrow: lines 1, 6, 12, 14, 18, 19, 20, 29, 33, 40, 51A, 62, 72, 72M, 72R, 88, 96, NL.

Broadway Shuttle and All-Nighter lines 801 and 840 will also be rerouted.

Castro Street Temporary Transit Center

Due to AC Transit bus lines starting, transferring or ending service in downtown Oakland, there will be a temporary transit center at Castro St. between 12th and 17th Streets.

Riders who need to reach the transit center should look out for green Broadway shuttle buses, which will serve the stop at 12th and Clay Streets. The service is free and will transport riders from the Castro St. temporary transit center along 14th St., Clay St. and 12th St.

Whether or not you decide to attend the parade and rally, you can also celebrate the Warriors by donating blood at Blood Centers of the Pacific.

In doing so, you will receive a limited edition 'Heart of a Warrior' t-shirt, but supplies are limited and are given out on a first come first serve basis. You can donate at any of the blood center locations or mobile blood drives on Wednesday or Thursday.

For more information about donating, see Blood Centers of the Pacific's Facebook page.
