Dolls Kill, a women's clothier specializing in highish-end glitter and punk duds and accessories, opened this weekend at 1475 Haight, the long-vacant former Skunkfunk storefront.

The shop, billed as a pop-up, opened Saturday with scores of would-be customers lined up around the corner. The new boutique—Dolls Kill's first brick-and-mortar location—was offering the first 100 shoppers $50 each in store credit.

Despite some hefty price tags (t-shirts range from about $35 to $50), the brand seems to take its cue at least nominally from punk aesthetics:

"Whether she is experimenting with fashion, music or sexual identity, the Dolls Kill customer can be seen aggressively fighting the higher power and unapologetically raising hell wherever she goes. Here is where you will find clothing inspiration pulled from the digital Tumblr girl world, bad acid trips, underground counterculture and stylized gutter punks. Navigate through the site and unleash your inner riot girl at an online shopping destination unlike anywhere else."

The shop's wares give every indication of being right at home on Haight St., with offerings that run the gamut from sleek, futuristic leotards to babydoll dresses and Kandi Kid getups.
