The weekend is here, and there's plenty to do if you're sticking in and around downtown San Francisco, from theater to comedy to a special treat for Game of Thrones fans.

Read on for a rundown of what not to miss in the neighborhood this weekend.

Friday, August 18th

Something Rotten!, 8pm
SHN Orpheum Theatre, 1192 Market St. ($65-$214)

With 10 Tony® nominations including Best Musical, SOMETHING ROTTEN! is a “big, fat hit!” (New York Post). Set in the ‘90s – the 1590s – this hilarious smash tells the story of Nick and Nigel Bottom (Tony® nominee Rob McClure and Broadway’s Josh Grisetti), two brothers who are desperate to write their own hit play while the "rock star" Shakespeare (Tony® nominee Adam Pascal) keeps getting all the hits.

Saturday, August 19th

Ultimate Game of Thrones Fan Event, 11am-4pm

Visit the fan pavilion, come face-to-face with the Night King and sit on the Iron Throne! Join us for food, refreshments, photo ops, and more as we bring the ultimate Game of Thrones experience to life. 

Bourbon Tasting: Four Roses, noon-3pm
The Whiskey Shop, 360 Sutter St.

Handcrafted since 1888, Four Roses Bourbon survived Prohibition, The Great Depression, Two World Wars, and 40 years of exile from the US, only to be named American Whisky Distiller of the Year for 2011, 2012 and 2013 – three years in a row - by Whisky Magazine. Distillery representatives and our own in-store whiskey experts will present a variety of their limited edition, award winning releases.

To celebrate our 4th year in San Francisco we have a special line up of beers from around the world. Here is a sneak peek at the lineup. Stay tuned for more details. We also have a new chef in the building who will be coming up with a one day only additional snack menu for the anniversary. Un-Scripted theater Co. is proud to present our original improvised story of casual, dating, friends with benefits, platonic, estranged, and it's complicated: Love Story. A perfect show for date night, whether it be for the first date or the fortieth, watch romance or tragedy unfold before you. The audience then chooses which couple to give a real chance at a relationship with.
