Academy-award winning actor Morgan Freeman is in town, reportedly shooting scenes with a crew from National Geographic for his new series, The Story of Us.

Instantly recognizable to the eye and ear, Freeman has been spotted downtown, near City Hall, as well as in the Upper Haight and Castro.

This morning, the star of The Shawshank Redemption and Million Dollar Baby was seen in the Upper Haight, outside of Haight-Ashbury T-Shirts at 1500 Haight:

More recently, one of the few actors to credibly play God and the President of the United States was spied in the Castro:

Update, 4:04pm: The actor was also spotted at Fort Mason.

It's unclear how long he'll be in town, but share your Freeman sightings here.
