A 57-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint while waiting at a bus stop in Parkside yesterday morning.

The woman was at Taraval and Sunset at 5:45am when she was approached by two young men, both described as being between 19 and 20 years old.

(While police did not reveal which stop she was at, the intersection serves the 29-Sunset bus line and the L-Taraval.)

The first suspect pointed a gun at the woman, while the other took her yellow purse. The first suspect then went through the woman's pockets.

In addition to her purse, they took money, her wallet, a cellphone, and miscellaneous cards.

The two then fled southbound on 35th Avenue. The woman was not injured in the incident, and no arrests were made.

Anyone who has information about this incident is encouraged to contact SFPD via the department's anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444, or text TIP411 with "SFPD" at the start of the message.
