In need of some workout clothing? A new business has you covered. Located at 2086 Union St. (between Webster St & Buchanan St) in Cow Hollow, the newcomer is called Sweaty Betty.

Open since August 16th, the new shop is the first SF outpost from the London-based athletic wear retailer, which has 12 other U.S. locations, as well as dozens in the U.K.

As we noted in January, the company applied for formula retail authorization, and it was subsequently granted permission to open in the former Nine West storefront.

A self-described "global multi-channel fitness fashion brand, with one unwavering mission to inspire to find empowerment through fitness," the shop carries a variety of tops, bottoms, swimwear and accessories (See the selection here.)

Sarah T., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on September 4th, said: "What a treat it is to have this fantastic London-based store so close to my home in SF. I was in the midst of ordering Sweaty Betty online and wanted so badly to try on the items first and then saw that they just opened a store in SF!"
