If you haven't made weekend plans, ABC7's Alexis Smith has some suggestions for you.

Kick off the weekend at the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, which is now underway. Until Sunday evening, the free event will feature more than 90 musical artists on seven different stages throughout the western end of Golden Gate Park.

Tomorrow morning, make the most of Fleet Week with a cruise on SS Jeremiah O'Brien, a war ship that was built during World War II. San Francisco Fleet Week started in 1981 as a way to honor American troops.

Here's a more in-depth look into what you can expect to see at the event and how pet owners and those suffering from PTSD can cope with the loud jet noises.

Round out your weekend with the San Francisco Italian Heritage Parade, which will kick off at 12:30pm this Sunday. The "longest continuously running Italian Heritage Parade" will begin at Jefferson and Powell in Fisherman's Wharf and make its way to Washington Square in North Beach.

Here's a guideline that the San Francisco Italian Heritage club posted on its website.
