On Saturday night, an Oakland resident was killed in Visitacion Valley.
Police responded to reports of a shooting on the 200 block of Blythdale Avenue and discovered a 52-year-old man with gunshot wounds.
A male suspect of an unknown age is involved, said police, but no other details on a suspect or suspects were available at this time.
The medical examiner later identified the victim as Dwayne Leblanc, Bay City News reported. Police are investigating the matter as a homicide.
