Back in September, rental site Zumper noted that median rents for a 1-bedroom in SoMa were hovering around $3,600. But how does the low-end pricing on a SoMa rental look these days—and what might you get for the price?

We took a look at local listings for studios and 1-bedroom apartments in SoMa via Zumper to find out what budget-minded apartment seekers can expect to find in this San Francisco neighborhood. Take a look at the cheapest listings available right now, below.

81 9th St.

 

Listed at $1,595 / month, this studio apartment offers on-site coin-op laundry and a full-time building manager. In the unit, expect to find an 8-foot by 10-foot main room with "good light and views," plus small kitchen with gas range, and bathroom with shower only (no tub).
