A woman has died after a fall at Fort Funston, SFFD officials reported.

San Francisco firefighters responded to the scene near the park's hang glider launch area at around 4:30pm and found the body of Tracy resident Arezoo Yusufi, 36, who had apparently fallen from a steep cliff.

"It's about a 300-foot fall," SFFD spokesperson Lt. Jonathan Baxter told ABC7. "We started to do advanced life-saving measures, which were unsuccessful."

Another visitor to the park had seen the woman, who was reportedly alone, and called 911.

When we reached out to the National Park Service for more information about the incident, a spokesperson cited the ongoing investigation and said that they were not able to share more details at this time.

Update, 9:43am: According to Bay City News, the medical examiner has identified the woman as 36-year-old Tracy resident Arezoo Yusufi.
