Last night at approximately 8:10pm, a unidentified 45-year-old man was struck and killed by a driver near Sloat Boulevard and 36th Avenue.

According to police, the victim, 45, was walking when the incident occurred and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remained at the site of the collision; members of SFPD's Traffic Collision Investigation Unit and Traffic Company are investigating.
