Four suspects assaulted and robbed a man in the Upper Haight yesterday afternoon, but one of the perpetrators was apprehended, police have reported.

The incident occurred at 4:30pm near the intersection of Haight and Stanyan streets when a 28-year-old man who was walking was approached by an 18-year-old male, two men, and a fourth male between 17 and 20 years old.

All four of the suspects struck the victim and stole his money before fleeing in an unknown direction, but the 18-year-old suspect was apprehended by police.
