There's a new American spot now in the Inner Richmond. Called Heritage Restaurant & Bar, the fresh addition is located at 708 Clement St. (between 9th  & 8th avenues).

This newcomer is located in the former Clement St. Bar and Grill space, with executive chef and owner Cameron Lewark (Spago Beverly Hills, Four Seasons Maui) at the helm. It specializes in farm-to table, seasonal California cuisine with Pacific Rim influences.

On the menu, customers will find starters like ahi sashimi with almond vinaigrette, wasabi oil and pickled radishes, and confit pork belly with persimmon puree, maple-bourbon glaze and wild black berries.

The restaurant has a main dining room and a private area that accommodates 16 people.

Entrées include dishes such as Atlantic salmon with fennel and baby turnips in a blood orange-fennel sauce; chicken with Brussels sprouts and butternut squash puree, and Angus beef with fingerling potatoes, bacon, wild mushrooms and roasted shallots.

Rounding out the menu is an extensive list of libations that includes sparking, red and white wines, bottled and draft beers and signature cocktails. (You can check out the full dinner menu here, and the drink menu here.)

So far, Heritage Restaurant & Bar has earned a five-star rating out of two reviews on Yelp.

Mary B., among the first to review the new spot on December 10th, described the space as "welcoming, and the staff friendly and very accommodating. And the best part was the delicious food! We will definitely return."

Yelper Molly B., who selected the restaurant for a family reunion, added that the "atmosphere was cozy, with a roaring brick fireplace. Very friendly staff that served delicious food to please all palates."

Heritage Restaurant & Bar (415-386-2200) is open daily from 5pm to 2am.
