An unknown suspect shot a man in Bayview yesterday afternoon, leaving him with life-threatening injuries, police have reported.

The incident took place at 1:32pm on the unit block of Double Rock when the suspect and the victim, a 36-year-old man, were talking before the suspect opened fire.

The victim was transported to a hospital; police are still seeking the suspect, who was not described.
