Bubble tea fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Located at 1324 2nd Ave. (between 69th and 70th streets) on the Upper East Side, the new arrival is called Vivi Bubble Tea.

Vivi, a Taiwanese-based tea chain that opened its first U.S. location in New York in 2007, now has nearly two dozen locations across the city, ranging from Midtown to Little Italy to Chinatown. This new Upper East Side location is located just outside the 70th Street entrance to the Q train (72nd Street stop), offering easy access for neighborhood commuters.

As with the other locations, Vivi offers a variety of both hot and cold teas, served with or without milk and boba. Flavor options include matcha, strawberry, and tiramisu milk tea, and regular tea with passionfruit, lychee, or jasmine honey. There are also a few hot tea drinks, for those seeking a reprieve from the cold winter weather.

Also on the menu: tea slushies and Asian-inspired snacks, including shrimp tempura ramen and popcorn chicken.

With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, Vivi Bubble Tea has been warmly received by patrons.

Tina L., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on December 23rd, said: "I feel like this place is so cute! Everything tastes so good. It's just near the Q train, so I could stop by on my way home or on my way to work, and the cashier was so nice and sweet."

Yelper Michele L. added: “It feels like this Vivi popped up overnight! Located right at the opening of the Q train entrance on 70th, it's in very close proximity to the major hospitals and academic centers in the area."

And Carol L. said: "Was SO excited to hear that a bubble tea place was finally opening off the 72nd Street Q stop! I always go for a hot regular bubble milk tea when I stop by Vivi's."

Head on over to check it out: Vivi Bubble Tea is open daily from 11am–9:30pm.
