Woman Shot In Lower Nob Hill Robbery

A woman was wounded by gunfire early this morning in Lower Nob Hill during a robbery, police have reported.

The incident occurred at 12:09am near the corner of Sutter and Larkin streets when a male suspect approached a 38-year-old woman and took her purse and cellphone by force.

When the victim turned to run away, her assailant fired in her direction before getting into a car driven by a female suspect. The victim was transported to a hospital, where she was treated for a non-life-threatening injury. No arrests have been made in the case.
