Looking for a new steakhouse in Chicago? We've found a lineup of new spots worth checking out. Here are the newest eateries to add to your list when you're craving steak, seafood and more.

Booth One

Booth One is a bar and steakhouse that draws from the legendary restaurant at the former Ambassador East Hotel. Located in the heart of the Gold Coast, the menu "is a modern day reintroduction of classic American cooking."

There's both a lunch and a dinner menu, and highlights include the lobster risotto, the prime cheeseburger twins and the Painted Hills filet mignon. There's also a dessert menu that features "Ms. Hsing's Wonderful Lemon Meringue Napoleon," "Bananas Foster Cream Pie" and "The Original Cheesecake Circa 1954."

Booth One's current Yelp rating of 3.5 stars out of 53 reviews indicates the newcomer is finding its way, but it's still early days.

Yelper Basil D., who reviewed Booth One on February 25th, wrote, "Great place for a relaxing evening with a fun but sophisticated atmosphere, terrific food, and the quintessential 'LettuceEntertainYou' service."

And Iryna O. wrote, "We came here to with a couple of friends during restaurant week. The place has a stunning decor with lamps that look like constellations—super cool. The menu was short and sweet, but pricey."

Booth One is open Monday–Thursday from 11am–11pm, Friday from 11am–midnight, Saturday from 4pm–midnight, and Sunday from 4pm–10pm.

Mable's Table

Mable's Table is a steakhouse launched by chef Anthony Reyes, who was inspired by his mom and grandma’s recipes, along with his home-taught love of cooking.

The restaurant has separate brunch, lunch and dinner menus. If you're craving brunch, try the bulgogi ribeye and eggs or the cinnamon roll pancakes. Lunch features plenty of salad and macaroni and cheese options. For dinner, look for the baby back barbecue pork ribs, the American whitefish or the porchetta.

Mable's Table currently holds 4.5 stars out of 92 reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Yelper Philip P., who reviewed Mable's Table on January 25th, wrote, "Absolutely phenomenal! From the professional service to the delicious cocktails and food menu, this place is truly a gem."

Sarah S. noted, "My friends and I went to Mable's Table for brunch this past weekend and had a lovely meal! It's a cozy spot with two separate sections of dining rooms which is an interesting set up."

Mable's Table is open Monday, 11:30am–10pm; Tuesday–Friday, 11:30am–11pm; Saturday, 10:30am–2:30pm, 4:30-11pm; and Sunday, 10:30am–2:30pm, 4:30–10pm.    

Gibsons Italia

Gibsons Italia is a steakhouse franchise founded in 1989. According to the restaurant's website, it was the first restaurant group in the country to have its own USDA-certified Angus beef program. It has 14 locations in four states, including the most recent outpost on N. Canal Street.

Known for its meats, Gibsons also offers oysters and shellfish, as well as classic Italian soups, antipasti and pastas.

Gibsons Italia currently holds 3.5 stars out of 91 reviews on Yelp, indicating fair reviews.

Yelper Greg N., who was one of the first users to visit Gibsons Italia on March 19th, wrote, "The service was good and the desserts were fantastic.  Homemade ice cream/gelato is not to be missed. This is a nice dinner/lunch spot for a business meal...you can't miss."

Yelper Iman J. wrote, "My wife and I returned to Gibsons Italia on Friday night to give it another shot. This time around it was way better than our first visit , and I'm glad we tried again. We were seated right by the windows with a beautiful view of the city."

Gibsons Italia is open Monday–Saturday from 11am–midnight. (It's closed on Sunday.)
