A suspect who allegedly killed a puppy during an altercation over the weekend is now wanted on felony charges of animal cruelty, kidnapping and domestic violence.
The suspect, Delos Pierre Gallon, 23, is a San Francisco resident who was last seen in a store on Turk Street between Mason and Taylor streets on Saturday at approximately 11:42am. According to a witness, Gallon got into an argument with a female victim inside the store and began to throw canned goods at her.
During the altercation, Gallon reportedly snatched the victim's four-month-old Cocker Spaniel from another person "and forcefully slammed the puppy onto the floor of the store," police reported.
By the time officers responded, Gallon had fled the area. The victim, and Prince, her puppy, were transported to San Francisco Animal Care and Control, where the dog succumbed to his injuries.

Police are seeking Gallon on multiple counts and have released a prior booking photo and a security video to help with his identification. Gallon, who has previously been arrested for firearms violations, should be considered dangerous. Anyone who sees him is encouraged to call 911 and be prepared to offer a description and location.
