The de Toledo varsity volleyball team won Tuesday's home conference match against Glendale Adventist by a score of 3-2.

The Jaguars manufactured a 2-1 set lead, dealing the Cougars a 25-13 beat down in the third; but, the visiting Glendale team came back to win the fourth set 25-20 to draw level with the Jags. In the fifth and deciding set, however, the de Toledo boys proved to be the stronger team, punctuating the encounter’s conclusion with a 15-9 exclamation point.

With the loss, Glendale Adventist falls to 6-6 on the season, while de Toledo ended a successful season at 10-6. The Jaguars victory over the Cougars ensured its undefeated league record: 8-0.

Glendale’s final game of the season will take place today, May 2 at San Gabriel Academy at 4:30 p.m.
