Mexican eatery Tequila & Taco debuts in Eisenhower EastPhoto: Emily B./Yelp

If tacos are what you're after, look no further than this new Mexican eatery. Located at 540 John Carlyle St. in Eisenhower East, the new addition is called Tequila & Taco.

The restaurant is the latest venture from "Mango Mike" Anderson and his wife, Donna, who also serve up barbecue at Sweet Fire Donna's just down the street, reports Alexandria Living.

On the menu, expect to find seven different types of tacos including carne asada, spicy shrimp and pork belly. A selection of mixed drinks, wine, cervezas and freshly made margaritas are available as well — perfect for those seeking a refreshing indulgence.

With a four-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new addition is getting solid feedback from clientele.

Andy D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 13, said, "I had the the spicy shrimp, the mahi-mahi and the pork belly taco and they were absolutely amazing! The price of three for $13 was an excellent deal."

"The chips were very fresh, super crunchy yet light and absolutely delicious," Yelper Sean P. said. "The salsa has a really smoky flavor (I'm guessing chipotle peppers) that I was in love with."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Tequila & Taco is open from 4:30–9 p.m. on weekdays. (It's closed on weekends.)
