In search of a new bar with a global wine list and outdoor patio? Look no further than Claret Wine Barlocated at 3400 Stone Way North in Wallingford.

The wine bar's drink menu features more than 150 wines by the bottle and 40 wines by the glass from France, Italy, New Zealand, Germany and the Pacific Northwest, among others.

Hungry? Claret Wine Bar also offers brunch and dinner options, including shareable plates, salads, sandwiches and a variety of main dishes. Check out the green goddess hummus for a healthy teaser before indulging in beer-battered halibut or the bistro burger topped with goat cheese and smoked mozzarella.

With a five-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new wine bar has been warmly received by patrons.

Dave D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 6, said, "We loved this place. Such great wine duos and loved all the background explanations about each one. Plus the food — oh my! And wonderful pairing recommendations. Need I go on?"

And Kyle J. said, "This place is awesome. The wine duo pairings are really interesting and fun. Learned a lot about regions and different tastes from old World vs. New World wine makers."
