Burger-centric Crown Hill Broiler makes its debut in Ballard

If burgers are what you're after, look no further than this new casual eatery and bar. The fresh addition to Ballard, called Crown Hill Broiler, is located at 8037 15th Ave. NW.

Previously the Original Pancake House, the owners closed the restaurant earlier this year and reopened with a new name, look and concept, My Ballard reports.

The Crown Hill Broiler features nine Angus burgers along with pork, chicken and vegetarian versions and has 10 beers on tap. Try the bacon burger with garlic aioli and pair it with a Manny's Pale Ale; or opt for The Porky Burger (8 ounces of pulled pork with homemade coleslaw and barbecue sauce on a ciabatta bun) and wash it down with a pint of Pacifico.

Fries, onion rings, quesadillas, sliders, wings and taquitos are also offered. Looking for a deal? Drop by from 3-6 p.m. for happy hour.

The new arrival has made a good impression thus far, with a 4.5-star rating out of seven reviews on Yelp.

Jennie E., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on May 31, said, "I ordered the porky sandwich and it was delicious. It's super family friendly and the food was great."

And Maria B. said, "My husband and I came here on Memorial Day for dinner and were so impressed. We live right down the street and are so excited to have a delicious burger/salad joint close by."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Crown Hill Broiler is open from 11 a.m.–9 p.m. daily.
