Market Street became a kaleidoscope of colorful outfits and sparkly personalities yesterday for San Francisco's 48th annual Pride parade.

After a weekend of parties and celebrations, more than 50,000 marchers and twice as many spectators lined a parade route that began near Market and Beale streets before participants walked, drove, skated, pranced, jumped, and skipped to 8th Street.
