If you've got Thai fare on the brain, you're in luck: we've found the freshest Los Angeles eateries to quell your cravings. Here are the newest places to check out the next time you're in the mood for Thai food.

My Vegan

My Vegan is a Thai spot serving up vegan fare in Eagle Rock. Founded in 2009, the eatery was considered "the first vegan place in Pasadena," the owner and co-founder says of the restaurant's original location. The business has an additional location in Silver Lake, called My Vegan Gold.

Menu offerings include vegan versions of Thai staples — from orange chicken to pad Thai. Try the fried soy fish sauteed with vegan cream and mushrooms; the Japanese wonton ramen soup; or the red curry with bamboo shoots, bell peppers, eggplant and basil leaves. (You can check out the full menu here.)

Yelpers are excited about My Vegan, which currently holds five stars out of 22 reviews on the site.

Charles G., who reviewed the new eatery on May 28, wrote: "Great place for dinner! I was very happy with the selection they had, and the soy beef was phenomenal! They really nailed the flavors and the staff was polite and friendly."

"Another amazing, well-priced dinner at My Vegan," shared Yelper Greg L. "It's such a nice big menu and everything is delicious. ... My angry pig dish is spicy and so good. Thrilled they are in Eagle Rock."

My Vegan is open from 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. on Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Pa Ord Express

Pa Ord Express is an eatery offering classic Thai cuisine in a fast-casual setting. 

On the menu, expect to find specialties like northern curried noodle soup, Thai spaghetti with crab curry, rice with Hainanese chicken and fermented pork ribs. For dessert, try the mango sticky rice, grass jelly or a taro ball in coconut milk. 

Pa Ord Express has one review thus far, which gives it a five-star rating.

Yelper Kitty T., who reviewed the newcomer on May 6, wrote: "Quick, authentic Thai street vendor food! I'm glad to have another option of quick Thai food. We also love Pa Ord. She is such a sweet lady and she loves what she does. It really shows in her food."

Pa Ord Express is open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.

It's Thai

1070 Wilshire Blvd., Westlake

It's Thai is a new counter-service spot that recently debuted in Westlake on Wilshire Boulevard. 

On the menu, expect to find an assortment of classic Thai staples like barbecue pork with boiled egg, curry noodle soup, fresh summer rolls with Thai-style tofu and roti — a popular Thai bread served with green curry sauce. 

For dessert, try some coconut ice cream, fried bananas or seasonal mango sticky rice. (You can view the full menu here.)

It's Thai is off to a strong start with four stars out of 22 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Ian I., who visited the eatery on May 10, wrote: "The green curry has been my go-to every time and it's awesome. I'd drink it for breakfast, lunch and dinner if that was acceptable. Rice could be a little cheaper ($3 for a small container of brown or sticky rice), but overall this place is great."

"Great food and service — we so needed a Thai restaurant in this area," said  Yelper Roco L. "Great spot for a quick, relaxing lunch."

    It's Thai Casual Dining is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on weekdays and noon–10 p.m. on weekends.

    Pho VT

    Last but not least, Pho VT specializes in Thai and Vietnamese fare and is serving up spring rolls, tea and more in Los Feliz. 

    The eatery's menu offerings include everything from bánh mì and phở to curries and khao soi — a classic northern Thai noodle soup. Customers can also spice up their selections with the restaurant's own chile oil, made in-house.

    Thirsty? Come try a refreshing Thai iced tea lemonade or Vietnamese coffee (served hot or cold). 

    With a 4.5-star rating out of 39 reviews on Yelp, Pho VT has been getting positive attention.

    Rima R. wrote: "Just wow! The food was delicious, people are friendly and the service is quick. I ordered the tofu curry and it was full of flavor."

    "First, I am so happy that Los Feliz finally has a phở place," said Yelper Christina K. "Second, I love that this place is affordable and absolutely delicious! ... The phở was so bright and fresh and packed full with vegetables."
