A new bar and bowling spot has opened for business in the neighborhood. Located at 100 Florida Ave. NE in Brentwood, the fresh arrival is called The Eleanor DC.

Describing itself as a "bowling lounge," the new establishment provides food, alcohol, bowling — and that's not all. It also has vintage arcade games, skee ball and other activities for those looking to relax and play.

With just a couple reviews on Yelp so far, it's early days.

Arin S., who was the first Yelper to review the new spot on June 25, wrote, "There are two duck pin bowling lanes and a variety of arcade games (Pac Man, Mortal Kombat, basketball, skee ball, and more. And unlike its predecessor, the Eleanor offers a solid happy hour menu with $5 drink specials. In other words, all the makings of a fun spot. I'm hoping for an eventual brunch! "

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: The Eleanor DC is open from 4 p.m.–midnight on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday and 4 p.m.–1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
