Looking to try the best breweries in town?

Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the top breweries in Miami, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to quench your thirst for Havana-style lagers, seasonal brews, robust porters and more.

1. J Wakefield Brewing

Topping the list is J Wakefield Brewing. Located at 120 N.W. 24th St. in Wynwood, this is the highest-rated brewery in Miami, boasting 4.5 stars out of 271 reviews on Yelp.

Beer enthusiasts, check out the Stush, a pale golden Berliner Weisse known for its cloudy appearance and crisp zest of lemon. Or try the Hops 4 Teacher IPA, a deep orange IPA with refreshing notes of citrus and tropical fruits with a solid malt backbone.

Yelper Jonathan T. wrote, "One does not experience a proper Miami beer tour without stopping by J. Wakefield Brewing. This 305 institution has won both national and international accolades. For the average beer lover, know they concoct some fantastic brews."

2. Concrete Beach Brewery

Next up is Concrete Beach Brewery, situated at 325 N.W. 24th St. in Wynwood. With 4.5 stars out of 265 reviews on Yelp, the brewery has proven to be a local favorite.

Visitors can look for the sunburst-orange Havana lager for a slight malty sweetness and a crisp and clean finish. Interested in a wine and beer fusion?  Check out the Rosé Ale, made with a touch of tannins, a splash of zinfandel grape, a hint of blueberry and subtle sweetness. 

3. Wynwood Brewing Company

Wynwood Brewing Company, located at 565 N.W. 24th St., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the brewery four stars out of 262 reviews.

According to its website, the 15-barrel brewhouse distributes a blonde aleIndia pale ale, a Gold Medal-winning robust porter, barrel-aged strong ales and a rotation of seasonal offerings

4. Bousa Brewing

Bousa Brewing, which offers tapas and more in Little Haiti, is another much-loved go-to, with 4.5 stars out of 66 Yelp reviews.

Menu offerings include the Little Haiti Honey Blonde Ale, which has a taste of bread and a kiss of honey, and the smooth, light-bodied American Wheat Ale. Head over to 7235 N.E. Fourth Ave. to see for yourself.

5. Veza Sur Brewing Co.

Last but not least, check out Veza Sur Brewing Co., another Wynwood spot that has earned four stars out of 126 reviews on Yelp.

Check out the Blood Orange Gose, a drink brewed with sea salt, orange peel and blood oranges. Ready for something fruity? Sample the Mango Blonde Ale or tropical Pale Ale, made with Amarillo, Mosaic and El Dorado hops. You can find the brewery at 55 N.W. 25th St.
