James C. noted, "I was waiting for this place to open for a while now and my expectations were met. The sushi was fresh when I arrived and was delicious. Staff was very welcoming and informative about their product."

The Cocinita focuses on street food, much of it vegetarian, served from a food truck on Biscayne Boulevard. Vegans will like the plant-based burger, lentil soup and vegan cheesecake. A variety of aprepas are available, including with chicken, fish or vegan chorizo.

Bowls of quinoa or spring greens are topped with tofu or raw tuna, plus scallions, shallots, radishes, avocado, mango and sesame seeds. Consider the kombucha to wash it all down.

The Cocinita has just two reviews on Yelp so far, which give it a 3.5-star rating.

Elio R., who reviewed the food truck on May 5, wrote, "I have to say they have the best vegan burger in Miami. It tastes amazingly good. I've tried every vegan burger in Miami and the taste is not even close to the Cocinita's burger."

The Cocinita is open from 7 p.m.–midnight daily.

Almalibre Açaí Bar is a plant-based restaurant near downtown art museums that has two other locations in Spain.

Appetizers include hummus, guacamole with yuca chips and avocado lemon toast. There is not just one vegan burger, but three types: chickpeas and quinoa, red rice and tempeh, and oat, tofu and green olives. Açaí bowls can be topped with ingredients that range from honey and almonds to granola and chia seeds. Juice, smoothies and organic beer and wine are also on hand.

Yelpers are excited about Almalibre Açaí Bar, which currently holds five stars out of 10 reviews on the site.

Marija L., who reviewed it on June 6, wrote, "Probably one of the best açaí bowls I have ever had. I like them but it is hard to find a really good one in Miami. Consistency was great — it was perfectly blended and not runny or fast melting. Very filling and satisfying. Perfect sweetness too."

Yelper Dee H. wrote, "The place is super clean, love the minimalist, greenery vibe. There was a young woman that served me and she was so pretty, kind and knowledgeable about the food."

Almalibre Açaí Bar is open from 8 a.m.–9 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday and 10 a.m.–6 p.m. on weekends. (It's closed on Monday.)

Adam's Rib and Stuff is a food truck from New Jersey, offering Texas-style barbecue and more, from Rabbi Adam Gindea. Expect kosher menu options like cholent, a traditional Jewish stew; smoked Buffalo wings; a full pound of brisket and more. You can see the full menu here, though it is subject to change.

Keep up with the truck's whereabouts by following its Facebook page.

Adam's Rib and Stuff currently holds 4.5 stars out of 11 reviews on Yelp, indicating good reviews.

Yelper Jake E. wrote, "Great addition to the downtown area, serving up 18-hour Texas style smoked brisket, smoked turkey, homemade pastrami and smoked Buffalo wings."

Charlie S. noted, "The menu changes all the time, and they tend to sell out fast, so check social media or call before you come here for lunch. One criticism I have is that the lunch menu is very limited. I'd like to see them offer for lunch the kinds of platters that other Yelpers have photographed for dinner."

Adam's Rib and Stuff is open from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on Friday. (It's closed on weekends.)
