So you're hungry — and you're ready for some Asian food. Good news: we've found the freshest spots to satisfy your appetite. Here are the newest places to check out the next time you're in the mood for sushi, dim sum, bánh mì sandwiches and other Asian fare.

Novikov Miami

Novikov Miami is a pan-Asian spot with outlets in cities like London and Moscow. The menu ranges from dim sum and wok dishes to tempura and sushi, along with robata (Japanese barbecue) and market-price fish.

Caviar and oysters from British Columbia and Washington state are among the appetizers. The rice and noodle dishes include kimchi rice and Singapore noodles. Wash it all down with a cocktail, like the old fashioned with Japanese whisky or a wasabi martini.

Novikov Miami is off to a promising start with four stars out of 25 reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Bianca N., who reviewed the restaurant on July 9, wrote, "Needed to check it out and see what all the hype was all about. I was not disappointed, neither was anyone I went with. The drinks, service, main course, dessert, everything was superb!"

Yelper Flavio L. wrote, "Obviously a fine dining restaurant, the atmosphere and food do not disappoint for the price. Novikov is a perfect example of 'you get what you pay for.'  Most of the fish is brought in daily from Portugal, and trust me, you can absolutely tell the quality and difference against most other sushi restaurants."

Novikov Miami is open from 6–10 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday and 6–11 p.m. on Thursday-Saturday.

TKO Sushi - A Modern Experience

TKO Sushi - A Modern Experience is a sushi bar sharing space with the NY Eats sandwich shop.

The sushi rolls include the Cuban, with spicy kani, marinated salmon, jicama, calabaza, avocado and creamy sauce, and the Vegetarian Lover, with marinated tofu, cucumber, carrot, sweet shiitake, avocado, roasted sweet potato and citrus ponzu. Poke bowls are available featuring tuna, salmon or hamachi. Citrus edamame and seaweed salad are among the starters.   

TKO Sushi - A Modern Experience currently holds 4.5 stars out of 18 reviews on Yelp, indicating a positive reception from diners.

Vanessa O. noted, "Small sushi bar counter inside another sandwich shop. Sushi was great and service too. He threw in a free miso soup."

Yelper Alex K. wrote, "This place meets or exceeds my value scale for good eating, which in order of relevance: food quality, service, price and ambiance. The fish is fresh and the roll combinations are delicious."

TKO Sushi - A Modern Experience is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday and Saturday.

Tran An

Tran An is a Vietnamese eatery inside the St. Roch Market food hall. Inspired by Hanoi street food, Tran An offers a choice of protein, like barbecue pork, lemon grass sausage and spicy curry tofu. You choose one and then pair it with a dish, like the bánh mì, broken rice or vermicelli noodles. Chicken phở and snacks like pork and shrimp spring rolls round out the menu.

Tran An's current rating of four stars out of 18 reviews on Yelp indicates a strong start for the newcomer, but it's still early days.

Nelson B. wrote, "My experience with Tran An was very pleasant from the moment my order was placed to the very last bite. I would recommend their bowl. Also their shrimp chips are exceptionally awesome."

Yelper Peter Z. wrote, "One of the best bánh mì I've had in Miami. Delicious meals and super fresh ingredients. The bread we had was fresh baked, but a little too hard for my liking."

Tran An is open from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Yuzu

Also in the St. Roch Market, Yuzu is a pan-Asian eatery that comes courtesy of Miami-born chef Andrew Zarzosa, who has worked in Dubai, Jakarta, Borneo and Manila.

Culture-blending menu items include foie gras dumplings and rojak, an Indonesian fruit and vegetable salad made with local ingredients. There's a vegan ramen and a rice bowl with braised ribs and bok choy.

With a four-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp, Yuzu has been generating buzz.

Yelper Bernardo E. wrote, "This is my new favorite spot for noodles, baos and southeast Asian food. On my second visit I had the duck bao buns and the shrimp salad with mango and radishes. I absolutely loved the flavors on both dishes, both presented beautifully. Andrew the chef and owner came out to talk to us; he and his staff are very welcoming and friendly."

Yuzu is open from 8 a.m.–10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 8 a.m.–11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
