Craving pizza? You're in luck: a new business has opened its doors in Portsmouth. Called 900 Degrees, the newcomer is located at 2454 Lafayette Road.

This pizza spot, which also has locations in Manchester and Epping, recently expanded into Portsmouth. It specializes in Neapolitan-style pies cooked in a 900-degree oven, with topping combos like the Tuscan Sun (tomato sauce, grana padano, mozzarella, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes and fresh basil) and the Saltimbocca (roasted garlic cream sauce topped with fresh mozzarella, fontina, roasted chicken, fresh ripe tomatoes, caramelized onion, shaved prosciutto, and sage).

There's also a menu of salads and pastas like spaghetti bolognese and macaroni and cheese, the latter of which is also available as a pizza topping. Sweet options include cannoli, molten lava cake and a cinnamon-sugar dessert pizza with white and dark chocolate, macadamia nuts, whipped cream, kiwi and strawberries.

With a three-star rating out of 10 reviews on Yelp so far, the newcomer is still finding its footing.

Noel C., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 17, wrote, "One of the best pizza places in Portsmouth! This newly opened wood-fired pizzeria is delicious. The menu is similar, if not the same as the other location."

Yelper Camilla B. added, “Overall, not horrible. Our waitress was very sweet, as was the hard cider (I can't recall the brand, but it was refreshing). The atmosphere was nice with the rustic/modern motif. Service was fast."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. 900 Degrees is open Sunday-Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m. and Friday-Saturday from 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m.
