The I-Tea crowd: score bubble tea and more at new Hollywood Park café

Bubble tea fans, take heed: there's a new spot in town to get your fix. Called I-Tea, the fresh arrival shares a space with its sister karaoke café Star KTV Lounge at 4543 Freeport Blvd. in Hollywood Park, as we recently reported. It joins one previous location for the popular Taiwanese chain in Sacramento.

On the menu, tea enthusiasts will find customizable iced and milk tea in a variety of styles, like the Earl Grey milk tea and the passion fruit green tea. Snacks like egg puffs and popcorn chicken are also available.

With a four-star rating out of nine reviews on Yelp so far, the newcomer is getting solid feedback from clientele.

"My new go-to boba shop. Finally an i-Tea close to home! Their drinks and snacks really hit the spot," Linda T., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on June 24, wrote, "My favorite drink is the honey brown rice milk tea that comes with chia seeds and agar boba. ... Warning: parking here sucks."

And Jessica L. wrote, "The franchise has good food and drinks: The tea is freshly brewed and not from powder, you can choose your ice and sweetness level, and they have a variety of snacks and toppings to choose from."

Swing on by to take a peek for yourself: I-Tea is open from 11 a.m.–11 p.m. on Monday-Thursday and 11 a.m.–midnight on Friday-Sunday.
