As part of Amazon's push into brick-and-mortar stores, the internet giant has opened a new bookstore at 7117 Arlington Road in Bethesda Row.

The new Amazon Books carries a selection of bestsellers, children's books and more, based on customer reviews and data from its online presence. Prices are the same as the ones online.

Prime members will receive a discount, but beware: customers can't pay with cash. Instead, they'll need to use their credit card or the Amazon app on your mobile device to pay.

The newcomer has gotten off to a solid start thus far, with a 3.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.

Yelper Eddie K. noted, “It's a small bookstore. They have a decent selection of books, including a good children's section. I didn't see any coffee shop attached to it like the ones in NYC and DC. ”

And Victoria H. wrote, "I loved that the books were all forward facing so you could see the cover of each. If you're a Prime member, the book is the same price as if you bought it online."

Interested? Stop by to welcome the new business to the neighborhood. Amazon Books is open from 10 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–7 p.m. on Sunday.
