Topping the list is The Capital Grille. The nationwide steakhouse chain devotes a large portion of its menu to seafood. Starting with appetizers, you'll find lump crab cocktail, lobster and crab cakes, and pan-fried calamari. The entrees include sesame-seared tuna, pan-seared sea scallops, citrus-glazed salmon and Maine lobster. The wine list is extensive. Located at 2800 W. Big Beaver Road, it is the highest rated seafood spot in Troy, boasting four stars out of 344 reviews on Yelp.
2. Sedona Taphouse
Next up is Sedona Taphouse, situated at 198 E. Big Beaver Road. It's also a chain, with locations in the Midwest and on the East Coast. Seafood menu items include crab-stuffed shrimp, seared scallops and sea bass. You can also get a whole salmon or the seasonal catch grilled on a wood fire. There's a rooftop patio while the weather lasts, where you can take advantage of the long list of craft beer on tap. With four stars out of 334 reviews on Yelp, the beer bar and New American spot has proven to be a local favorite.
3. Eddie V's Prime Seafood
Finally, there's Eddie V's Prime Seafood, located at 2100 W. Big Beaver Road. Another upscale chain, it serves a variety of East and West Coast oysters, plus caviar and raw chilled shellfish. You'll find seafood appetizers ranging from lobster tacos and kung pao calamari to sashimi and tuna tartare. Main dishes run the gamut: red snapper, halibut, sole, swordfish, king crab and more. There's live jazz and a long list of cocktails in the bar. It's another top choice, with Yelpers giving it four stars out of 172 reviews.
