Dupont Circle has a brand-new spot for food, drinks and entertainment. Called Rewind by Decades, the fresh arrival is located at 1219 Connecticut Ave. NW. Housed in a two-level, 4,000-square-foot space under the retro-themed Decades nightclub, the diner is serving up classic favorites and comfort foods.

Breakfast is available all day, with offerings like corned beef hash, s'mores French toast and the Unicorn Waffle, topped with mint chocolate chip, strawberry and vanilla bean ice creams, whipped cream and M&Ms. The menu also features cheeseburger sliders, Cobb salad, fish and chips and chicken potpie with vegetables, greens peas and truffle bechamel.

This isn't your typical diner, though. There's everything from beer and wine to handcrafted cocktails and boozy milkshakes. Music videos from the 1980s, 90s and early 2000s are broadcast on large screens and TVs throughout, except when it's showing high-profile sports events, reports Eater Washington D.C.

It's still early days for the new business, which has a five-star rating out of just two reviews on Yelp so far.

David D., who reviewed Rewind on Aug. 1, wrote, "This restaurant is by far one of the best I have ate at in DC and the best late-night option by far. The eggs Benedict was excellent, comparable to what I have had at restaurants dedicated to breakfast-only fare."

Intrigued? Stop in to try it for yourself. Rewind by Decades is open from 4 p.m.–2 a.m. on Monday-Thursday, 4 p.m.–4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m.–2 a.m. on Sunday.
