Interested in trying the newest steakhouses in Dallas? You're in luck: we've found the freshest businesses to fill the bill. Here are a few places to check out the next time you're in search of carnivore-friendly cuisine. 

Seafood Daddy and Steaks

Seafood Daddy and Steaks is a new casual restaurant that features a full bar and several TVs tuned to sports.

On the menu, you'll see steak options like the New York strip, the prime rib and the ribeye, which are served with a salad and one side. Sides include french fries, Daddy Rice and mixed vegetables. There are also surf and turf platters, which pair your favorite cut of steak with fried or grilled shrimp or oysters.

Yelpers are excited about Seafood Daddy and Steaks, which currently holds 4.5 stars out of 11 reviews on the site.

Mando D., who reviewed it on Sept. 13, wrote, "The steaks are cooked to utter perfection. Your way! Nice New York strip. So good no steak sauce was needed, and that is the defining factor between good steaks and great steaks."

Sue N. added, "First time here and the food was delicious. The ribeye was tender. The ribs were spot on. ... They had a live band Friday night."

Seafood Daddy and Steaks is open from 11 a.m.–midnight on Monday and Wednesday, 11 a.m.–2 a.m. on Thursday-Saturday, and noon–2 a.m. on Sunday. (It's closed on Tuesday.)

Billy Can Can

Billy Can Can is an upscale dining saloon that offers steaks, local game, Gulf seafood, cocktails and more.

If you're there for some steak, try the bone-in sirloin with garlic confit; the buffalo tenderloin with plums and sweet onion salad; or the tomahawk for two with roasted bone marrow, wild arugula and green tomato salad. Other offerings include the swordfish steak and the long-bone pork chop. (See the full menu here.)

On the saloon side of things, it has an extensive wine list, regional craft beers and a number of cocktails, such as Billy's Elixir (saloon whiskey, Madeira, beef bouillon, sandalwood and angostura bitters).

Billy Can Can is off to a strong start with 4.5 stars out of 37 reviews on Yelp.

Jim C., who reviewed it on Sept. 6, said, "Great food and atmosphere. Would definitely go back. Swordfish steak was amazing. Menu was slightly limited, but I'm certain everything was similar in quality. Great for casual dining in the bar area or more elegant with reservations."

Megan B. noted, "Great food, great atmosphere and excellent service. ... I had the grande steak frites, which was a great cut of meat and very tender. The sauce and fries served with it were equally as excellent."

Billy Can Can is open from 5–10 p.m. on Monday–Thursday and Sunday, and 5–11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Cooper's Meat Market

Cooper's Meat Market is a butcher and steakhouse that also serves burgers, sandwiches and more. 

The restaurant features cuts like the Choice Filet, Prime Filet, Prime Porterhouse, Choice New York Strip and Akaushi Filet, among others. Sides include grilled asparagus, creamed spinach and creamed corn. Pair your steak with wine or beer and treat yourself to the bananas Foster bread pudding for dessert.

With a five-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp, Cooper's Meat Market has been developing a local fan base. 

Yelper Julian A., who reviewed it on July 9, said, "Top steakhouse quality and it is a hidden gem! The burgers and steak are to die for! The first time here, I had the chophouse burger, which is ridiculous — there's no way to finish it in one sitting. Then I had the ribeye and twice-baked potato, and it was amazing, juicy and huge!"

Bert T. added, "This butcher shop is also several other things: prepared food to take out, gourmet shop, wine shop, small bar and restaurant. The steaks melt in your mouth."

Cooper's Meat Market is open from 9 a.m.–9 p.m. on Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.–10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m.–5 p.m. on Sunday.
