Curious where Miami's insiders are eating and drinking? It's easy to spot lines out the door, but some underlying trends are harder to see.

We took a data-driven look at the question, using Yelp to discover which restaurants have been seeing especially high review volumes this month.

To find out who made the list, we looked at Miami businesses on Yelp by category and counted how many reviews each received. Rather than compare them based on number of reviews alone, we calculated a percentage increase in reviews over the past month.

Read on to see which spots are on a hot streak, right now.

Sette Osteria

Open since May, this Italian restaurant, which offers weekend brunch, is trending compared to other businesses categorized as "Breakfast & Brunch" on Yelp.

Citywide, breakfast and brunch spots saw review counts increase by a median of 2.4 percent over the past month, but Sette Osteria saw a 56.1 percent increase, with a slight downward trend from a five-star rating a month ago to 4.5 stars today.

It's not the only trending outlier in the breakfast and brunch category: Mason Eatery has seen a 36.4 percent increase in reviews.

Located at 2103 N.W. Second Ave. in Wynwood, Sette Osteria offers a large selection of Italian pastas, meat dishes, fish and pizza. Look for the cacio e pepe: a deceptively simple pasta composed of housemade tagliolini, Parmesan, pecorino, black pepper and olive oil. Diners can also try the breaded veal chop with arugula and Parmesan or the tagliolini with shrimp, pesto and diced tomatoes.

Novikov Miami

Whether or not you've been hearing buzz about downtown's Novikov Miami, the upscale Chinese and Japanese spot is a hot topic according to Yelp review data. With several international outposts, this is the restaurant group's first U.S.-based location and offers sushi and other seafood dishes.

While businesses categorized as "Seafood" on Yelp increased their review count by a median of 2.8 percent over the past month, Novikov Miami bagged a 34.1 percent increase in reviews within that timeframe, with a slight upward trend from a four-star rating a month ago to its current 4.5 stars.

There's more that's trending on Miami's seafood scene: Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar has seen a 26.3 percent increase in reviews, and Bazaar Mar has seen a 12.2 percent bump.

Open since May at 300 S. Biscayne Blvd., Novikov Miami features wok dishes, dim sum and sushi. There's also a market display in the restaurant where diners can select from the daily seafood catch and decide how they'd like it prepared.

Boulud Sud

Downtown's Boulud Sud is the city's buzziest bar by the numbers.

The bar and Mediterranean spot, which opened in January at 255 Biscayne Blvd. Way, increased its review count by 28.2 percent over the past month, an outlier when compared to the median review increase of 4 percent for the Yelp category "Bars." You can find it in the JW Marriott Marquis hotel.

It's not the only trending outlier in the bar category: Racket has seen a 17.2 percent increase in reviews.

Boulud Sud features a bar and lounge with a rotating selection of wines, cocktails and beer. The wine program places a heavy focus on regions along the Mediterranean coast, per its website. Pair your drink with Andalusian gazpacho with cucumber, watermelon and croutons; seared Mediterranean branzino with artichoke and apricot; or tuna steak with ratatouille and chickpea panelle.
